•  Teaching Artist

Bridget is a multidisciplinary artist as well as a Vocal Coach and Songwriting Coach who has worked with singers of all ages for over 10 years. Bridget’s love of children and living in the magic of imagination led her to work at the Central Park Early Learning Center (CPELC), a school for children with autism and special needs. At CPELC, she developed a music therapy curriculum and wrote original songs for the children’s graduations. For the last 6 years Bridget has been a teaching artist with Music Connections at Carnegie Hall.  She has worked with The Lullaby Project writing songs with mothers for their children in homeless shelters, prisons and high schools.  Bridget has led songwriting workshops with incarcerated youth in detention centers in Brooklyn and the Bronx.  She also designed a 5 Step Online Songwriting workshop offered to all NYC Public Schools during the pandemic.  These workshops have inspired her to develop more programs whether they are one-on-one or in group settings.  With an intuitive creative approach, Bridget brings her compassion and inner belief in the power of transformation to every song she writes. Music is healing and she wants to continue to share this medicine. Bridget has developed various formats of songwriting workshops whether a one day experience, a week long intensive or longer template over months, a school year or a specific project.
